Gases constitute a wider dimensional function in industries. Carbon monoxide is a type of compressed gas, often have pressureless properties and have wide applications like for melting processes employing a reducing flame, for the production of high-purity metals and work as a reducing agent for chemical syntheses. Krypton-Xenon gases are deep frozen liquefied gas and have applications in lighting and laser engineering. Hydrogen is a compressed gas and has applications ranging from metal industries for welding and lead soldering, as a blanketing gas for heat treatment. In chemical synthesis it is used for hydrogenations in industries like mineral oil industry.
