Technique:
The base and the upper is made of raw jute and has a rubber sole. The upper has a cotton cloth inner lining. Jute footwear is made of Bleached & Natural yarn inter-woven with Hessian lining. Ladies sandals are made of fine Hessian in natural shade, with EVA bottom and furnished leather toe-knot. Interwoven jute & leather, with leather binding are used to make Jute sandals. The foot-bed may be made of Jute composite. But the sole may be of three different types depending on the length of usage. The sole may be of plain jute cloth for one-day use, it may be of braided jute to make it thicker and stronger for multiple uses or the sole may be of rubber to give it a long lasting effect.
