Giant 10"x10", 18 pound spool of the jute twine so highly sought for traditional Maltese Shells. This specific twine is difficult to find in any real quantity, and most of what is found is either too thin, too thick or just plain junk. This is the right stuff, and if you want to build Maltese Shells that work, you will need this particular string. Also great as a general purpose, light duty and very inexpensive string.
When the Maltese spike a shell, they use multiple plies of jute laid side by side to completely cover the outside of the shell. If you plan on making more than a few of these amazing shells, you will need more than one spool of jute. Either you can buy one spool and rewind portions of it, or you can buy our 6-spool bundle and place them side by side on steel pipe for fast progress.
