Diya is symbol of knowledge in Hinduism, a blazing Diya or lamp is said to relinquishing the darkness of ignorance. Trishul is said to be controlling the bad thoughts or mottos in our mind or sins we are doing knowingly unknowingly day to day. Bell is supposed to alert our mind from the dangers and  to send our prayer to the God or Goddess we are worshipping.
