Acid resistant linings provide extremely good resistance to sulphuric acid at a reasonable cost. Materials like acid resistant brick, ceramic paper PTFE etc are commonly used sometimes by combining with each other to give total acid resistant lining for protection of carbon steel vessel etc. It can  withstand reducing acids as well as chloride attack. There are many varieties of acid resistant linings like Acid Resistant Pipe Linings, Acid resistant ceramic linings, acid resistance brick linings etc which are applied mostly where there is high thermal mechanical and chemical resistant required, for mixing and reaction tanks and many other such applications. They are easy to apply and these linings show outstanding properties and are durable.
