Sculpture is an art of producing in three dimension representations of natural or imagined forms. There are six main types of sculpture viz. wood, stone, ivory, terra cotta, metal (gold work), and bronze (casting). Indian wooden sculpture is marked by the authentic curving on a single block or se veral pieces of wood by the skilled artisans. These woods are worked separately and then joined together. But it need much effort and proficiency to transform a dead stone to an enliven statue. Indian stone sculpture is soul of Indian heritage and culture.
